The Intersectionality of Domestic Violence & Gun Violence Prevention
COSA Zooms on Tuesday, November 10th at 10am-11am
Intimate partner violence and gun violence do not exist in vacuums. Where they overlap, victim risk increases dramatically. In this upcoming session, we are bringing this critical intersection back into focus. Designed for social workers, DV victim advocates, family service professionals, and concerned community members, this presentation will begin with an overview of DV. The conversation will examine the relationship between gun laws and DV; policy updates like the new Red Flag law; and resources to aid you and your agency in delivering responsive care.
