Money Matters Specialist
Provide year-round program support for CAPV's Money Matters program including acting as the Site Coordinator for CAPV’s Free Tax Assistance Program (VITA) and providing on-site support during tax clinics, conducting 1-1 financial counseling sessions, and assisting with the creation and facilitation of financial workshops. Training in VITA advanced tax preparation will be provided and advanced certified is required by November 15th. Evening/weekend hours required during tax season. 37.5 hrs/week, $20.10-21.32/hr.

VITA Tax Program Scheduler
Responsible for answering the phone for CAPV's Free Tax Assistance Program (VITA), conducting phone eligibility screening and scheduling virtual and in-person tax preparation appointments for approximately 900 households. Responsibilities also include recording call data into Excel and agency databases, utilizing Outlook Calendar and AppToto appointment software, preparing mailings, helping to follow-up with taxpayers, data entry and other duties as assigned by the Program Coordinator. Training in VITA advanced tax preparation will be provided with a requirement to become certified within the first 30 days. Evening and weekend hours may be required during tax season.20-30 hrs/week, $15.66-16.61/hr, TEMPORARY, Nov-April.
