Mar 14: COSA presents 413Cares

UPDATED WITH INFO FROM THE PRESENTERS!

It was a pleasure to share information with the COSA group. Thanks so much for having us! Attached is a FAQs document to help guide folks in a lot of what I talked about. They can also refer to helpful information on our page for organizations that includes more useful documents/instructions.

Some suggested next steps for folks new to 413Cares:

  1. Create an account. We suggest everyone create an account to have access to more tools and to claim, but it is not required to search for services.

  2. Explore searching for services and suggest new programs if needed

  3. Designate who should claim your organization’s programs and get them claimed.

  4. Attend an upcoming “Office Hours” date to ask questions or send other staff to learn how to use the platform. Drop in as needed

    1. Tuesday March 28th, 2:30-4:00 pm. Register here by March 23.

    2. Thursday April 6th, 12:00-1:30 pm. Register here by March 31.

  5. Schedule a training for your staff. We can present at a regularly scheduled staff meeting.

  6. Contact us: Francheska Bermudez, FBermudez@publichealthwm.org; Liv Anna Homstead, LHomstead@publichealthwm.org

413Cares

Tuesday, March 14 @ 10AM-11AM

Zoom details below.

Look4Help, the online resource database for Franklin and Hampshire Counties, is no longer being updated and will be shutting down soon. The site is redirecting people to use 413Cares, which offers resources for all counties of western MA using the Findhelp platform.

How can your organization make this a smooth transition for clients and staff?

COSA is excited to welcome presenters from The Public Health Institute of Western Massachusetts. They will discuss 413Cares, a free and easy-to-use resource that can help connect individuals in our community to services like yours. 413Cares invites you to participate in making this resource a valuable service in our region.

Our presenters will introduce the 413Cares platform and offer insights on how to make the most of this website. They will also share guidance on how to claim your programs and include information on the site.

Don’t miss this opportunity! Stay current with the latest local information resources. Ensure clients can learn about your programs and find the support they need.
