COC ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Three County Continuum of Care at Community Action Pioneer Valley is looking for a well-organized professional to assist in the day-to-day operations and special initiatives for the continuum's regional efforts to end homelessness. The administrative assistant will support the CoC's program staff's administration of funding, community engagement, data and reporting, and oversight of the coordinated entry system.
The ideal candidate will have experience with data entry, office organization, social media, and excellent writing skills. We are looking for a motivated team player, who is detail-oriented, able to work independently, and has effective general computer skills. In addition, the candidate of interest will have an understanding of the impacts of systemic racism and cultural and socioeconomic oppression. Candidates with lived expertise of the experience of homelessness, or representative of communities who have experienced systematic marginalization, are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week. Pay range is $17.63-$18.70/hr.

WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT SKILL –UP SPECIALIST
Community Action Pioneer Valley Youth and Workforce Development Programs is seeking a Workforce Development Specialist for our Skill Up Program 37.5 hrs. /wk. Join our team to make a difference in the lives of youth aged 14-22 who are court involved. Working one on one with youth throughout their engagement in treatment and in the community, our focus is to assist them in preparing for success in education and employment, by providing case management, job readiness, and employment opportunities.
Our programs follow a trauma informed care and positive youth development model with a strong focus on social change and healing/restorative justice. Our participants are people who live within systems of oppression. Candidate must be reliable, and able to maintain appropriate, engaging relationships with youth facing barriers to employment. Candidates must pass a CORI, and fingerprinting, have a reliable vehicle, and safe driving record. Strong team, positive work environment, excellent training. $18.62-19.76 depending on qualifications.

WIC BREASTFEEDING/CHESTFEEDING PEER COUNSELOR
Community Action Pioneer Valley's WIC program is looking for a compassionate person who wants to make a difference in the lives of others. We are seeking a part-time breastfeeding peer counselor who will be responsible for providing breast/chest feeding information and counseling to WIC participants at our Orange, MA location.
Responsibilities include: attend breastfeeding training classes to become a peer counselor; receive a caseload of WIC clients and make routine periodic contacts with all clients assigned; provide follow through with each client; provide basic breastfeeding information and support to new parents/caregivers including informing them about the benefits of breastfeeding, overcoming common barriers, and getting a good start with breastfeeding.
Qualifications include but are not limited to: experience breastfeeding at least one baby (does not have to be currently breastfeeding); current or previous WIC participant; enthusiasm about breastfeeding and the desire to help others enjoy breastfeeding; proof of full COVID-19 immunization. This is a part-time position of 5 hours per week. Pay range: $15.00-$15.61
