Representation Matters! Redistricting Training for Trainers on May 13 and May 19

The MA Voter Table and MassCounts are sponsoring these workshops that will prepare community groups and leaders to engage their members in the redistricting process. Topics covered will include:
How to communicate the importance and process of redrawing district lines with your community
Defining and mapping your community of interest
How to support the Drawing Democracy Coalition’s goal to create a state-wide unity map that empowers immigrants, people of color, and low-income voters.

Additionally, the 2nd Congressional District hearing (including Amherst, Deerfield, Greenfield, Northampton, Worcester - here's a complete listing) is coming up on Monday, May 24, at 5:30pm. Here is all the information and registration detail.
Note: the trainings are open to 1st and 2nd Congressional District residents.
But the May 24th hearing is for 2nd Congressional District ONLY.
The 1st Congressional District hearing should be announced shortly.
