Leadership Change at United Way

The United Way of the Franklin and Hampshire Region (UWFH) has announced that Executive Director John Bidwell, who has led UWFH through a pandemic, a merger and a strategic planning process, will be leaving the organization on June 30, 2022. Under Bidwell's leadership the UWFH has grown to support 48 partner agencies serving an estimated 5,000 people across the two counties with grants totaling $940,000.

In a press release, the UWFH writes: "As always, our singular aim is ensuring that our partner agencies and internal programs are supported and able to do the work that our communities rely on them for. To that end, we are appointing Geoff Naunheim, who currently serves as Director of Community Investment, as Interim Executive Director. Geoff is an integral member of the United Way team; there is no one who knows our partner agencies better and we are pleased to have Geoff’s experience during this interim period. We are excited about the continued potential of UWFH to make a positive impact in our community."
