Mar 17: Recovery Coach Learning Community

The Recovery Coach/Recovery Coach Supervisor Learning Communities (RCLC), sponsored by the Bureau of Substance Addiction Services (BSAS), are a statewide regional network of Recovery Coaches and Recovery Coach Supervisors, committed to:

  • Upholding fidelity to the peer recovery coaching model

  • Collaborating to expand knowledge

  • Addressing Recovery Coaching concerns and developments with colleagues

  • Sharing resources and information

The RCLC provide a peer-driven community space and an innovative approach to professional development to support and build Massachusetts’ rapidly expanding addictions peer recovery workforce.

Providing connection and professional development for Recovery Coaches and Recovery Coach Supervisors, this community meets quarterly to provide opportunities to share, learn, and grow as Peer Recovery Support Specialists.

Our next meeting is Friday, 3/17 from 3:00 – 4:30. Please feel free to forward this information to any Recovery Coach or RC Supervisor in your organization or network.

Our topic this quarter will be SAMHSA’s Guidelines for the Effective Supervision of Peer Workers

If you would like to attend, please feel free to drop in. This meeting is virtual on ZOOM until spring of 2023. Contact Trevor Dayton at tdayton@wmtcinfo.org or Julia Beaudoin at jbeaudoin.myrandf@gmail.com for more information.
